Holbeton is approximately 10m south east of Plymouth, off the A379 Plymouth - Kingsbridge Road and near the estuary of the river Erme. See map

Holbeton has many picturesque thatched cottages and two delightful pubs serving local ales and excellent food - the Mildmay Colours Inn and the Dartmoor Union, within easy walking distance of Whitehayes Barn.

The coastal path nearby offers magnificent sea views and is much loved by bird watchers, artists, photographers and those who appreciate nature in all its differing seasons.

Directions

Coming from the east on the A38, take left at Wrangaton Cross for Ermington A3121 and Yealmpton/Modbury A379. In 1 mile at Kitterford Cross turn right onto A3121, then in 5 miles join A379 Yealmpton/Plymouth road. After 1 mile turn left for Holbeton/Mothecombe; 1.5miles on turn left to Holbeton. Follow sign to Village Hall. Whitehayes Barn is situated on far side of Village Hall.
